Don't Tread on Me For all of the crazy leftist, nanny-state, dependents out there, the answer is not bigger government. It isn't the government's job to provide you with income for healthcare, reitrement, a car, cable tv, internet, food, or shelter. Be responsible with your money, make intelligently informed decisions, and be a responsible enough citizen to take command of your own destiny instead of relying on Uncle Sam to take it from everyone else. If you're too lazy to contribute, then feel free to leave. No one is forcing you to stay here. Additionally, I am my own man, and I do not need some disconnected politician (read liar) to dictate what is best for me and mandate laws based on nothing but public opinion and common acceptances. The government is here to protect us from others, but it is not the government's job to protect us from ourselves. Lastly, if you don't think that the Constitution is still as valid today as it was when our fore fathers wrote it, then pack your bags and go already. God bless America!
