Liberty is important.
Liberty is important. This is like the joke about the Anarchists' Convention. It's a contradiction in terms. The Libertarian Party is somewhat like that. What's important to me is not the group or party, but the values. Liberty is one of the biggies --- just look at the places that have dumped it, either by neglect and propaganda, or by outright tyranny. They are not happy places. Liberty doesn't guarantee anything, but it gives us a chance.
