I am a business owner who has a whole wide range of interests like sailing, ice hockey, reading, cooking, travel, watching FOX News, movies, softball, and I love a good stimulating debate (that keeps my brain healthy). My Libertarian views have been cultivated over a few years. I have come to really understand and appreciate the desire to be free and to live my life the way I want to; not to have someone else or the government dictate decisions for me. Allowing people to be free to make their own choices makes for an amazing and prosperous society, in my opinion. I am a Christian and a regular church-goer (non-denominational), although I am not a religious fanatic. I have been told I have a great sense of humor and I think it is because I come from a family that is a collection of total nutty people; humor is a much more common element in my family than anything else. Finding and collecting great quotes is a casual hobby of mine. One of my favorites is: "Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. So you will be a mile away from them and you will have their shoes". I am looking for someone who shares my views (not all of them), has a desire to start a family, is a person of ideas not gossip, is someone who is not afraid to take risks, considers both sides of an issue before taking a side, constantly asks both "Why?" and "Why not?", has a hunger for knowledge, and is not afraid to speak their mind.
