i'm a kind, thoughtful and patient man. i'm also extremely selective. it's better the be alone than lonely with the wrong woman. trust me, i've learned the hard way. the lady i will choose to spend my time with and build a relationship with will share at least some of my beliefs and values. my passions are writing (i'm the published author of more than 100 articles and essays and one book, along with a lot of copy writing), photography, art and design, learning and research. i've read about 3,000 books, only a couple dozen of which were fiction. i read to learn. my favorite things to learn about, in random order, are history, economics, nutrition and health, government and corporate corruption, and libertarian philosophy. i also like to cook. i'm not great, but certainly better than average. regarding food, what matters is what you eat most of the time; i try to avoid factory-built food. as you might expect, i also practice natural medicine. why are humans the only living things that require pharmaceuticals? moving on...i'm a spiritual person (and open minded and ever changing) with little use for organized religion. all that said, i'm also easy going and have a sense of humor (which has often been described as "carlinesque"). what am i looking for? a lady with similar values, who's loyal, honest, kind, intelligent and willing to build a solid and meaningful relationship. the relationship can be built in a week, a month or a year -- however long it takes. nature will take its course. physically, she needs to be fun to look at ( men are visual) and she needs to take care of herself. i have an aversion to women who are fat and lunch on burgers, fries and coke. lastly, i believe in closeness and genuine affection. the only way to walk is hand-in-hand or arm-in-arm.
