Anyone want to venture opinions about their favourite libertarian economists? What relation does economics have to the rest of libertarian philosophy and politics for everyone? Is economics just another front ideology for interest groups?

Economics is an objective science. Free market economics is integral to the libertarian philosophy; I don't think they can be disentangled.

Favorite authors: Mises, Rothbard, DiLorenzo, Hulsmann, Salerno, Hayek, to name a few. I have a love-hate relationship with Hoppe's works.

I agree.

I'll vote for Murray Rothbard as my favorite economist.
